Gatekeeper - Optimus Maximus (2009)
Wonderful EP by this amazing duo from Chicago.
Try to imagine a John Carpenter soundtrack with lots of beat and electronics.
Fabulous!

About new posts
Hi to all.
There's been quite a while since my last post.
As you may now, I'm terribly occupied right now and time's a little short for me at the moment.
However, I'll try to return to my posting activity in a more regular basis (whenever possible).
I won't be able to spend much time writing about the records I'll be posting.
I hope the tags on each and every post will be sufficient to guide you on your choices.
Cheerio!

Snowman - Absence (2011)
What an outstanding and amazingly beautiful album by this australian band that, unfortunately, is no more. "Absence" was recorded before Snowman's demise and it was put out on the market afterwards.
Don't miss it for anything!

Carla Bley (w/ Steve Swallow) - Night-Glo (1985)
Carla Bley & Steve Swallow - Duets (1988)
Carla Bley & Steve Swallow - Go Together (1993)
Carla Bley/Andy Sheppard/Steve Swallow - Songs With Legs (1995)
Carla Bley - Fancy Chamber Music (1998)
Carla Bley & Steve Swallow - Are We There Yet? (1999)
I love Carla Bley, her career and her compositions in general.
It's true I could have posted these ones earlier, but I guess it just wasn't the right time then.
But having received one undeniable request from a dear friend of mine, I've decided to make this post with some of my favourite records by this extraordinary artist, from which I would like to highlight such ones as "Social Studies", "Duets" or "Sextet".
Hope you like it!
