Here's an interesting tribute to The Smiths.
Great cover versions by The Divine Comedy, The High Llamas and Billy Bragg, among others.
Enjoy!!!

I'm affraid that some songs appear in other albums that you have..but it have 2 live songs
(one is a great cover of American Music Club)
Hope you like it.
I got this Smiths' tribute too. Is very good in general, just the Boo Radleys and Bis covers don't like. The Divine Comedy cover of There Is A Light That Never Goes Out is in my oppinion the best cover of the album without doubt(probably it helps the song, one of the finest Smiths' composition ever made)
I have another Smiths' cover album: Cover Star. If you're interested tell me (note that the albums that I tell you are backups from my personal collection so a good rip is for sure)
Cheers
Hi englishfog!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the Casanova Companion.
I agree with you in what concerns to The Divine Comedy cover version on this Smiths' tribute. Probably is the best cover on the CD, although I also love The High Llamas one... ;)
I'm interested in the Cover Star tribute.
If you'ld be so kind and upload it I would much appreciated.
Thanks again.
Cheers!
