The Comsat Angels - Time Considered as a Helix of Semi-Precious Stones - The BBC Sessions 1979/1984 (1992)
One of the most amazing bands of the post-punk era, along with The Sound, The Cure or The Chameleons.
This is a compilation of BBC sessions recorded between 1979 and 1984, containing such classic themes as "Eye of the Lens", "Independence Day", "Gone" or "Dark Parade".
Enjoy!

Hey, I am working on an independent film and we use High Tide by the Comsat Angels, can anyone point me in the direction on who now owns the music rights to this band? Any info would be helpful
ReplyDeleteHi Vanmurphy, sorry the delay of my replay, but only now I've seen your comment.

Comsat Angels, whose name comes from a JG Ballard short-story, is a legion of postpunk kings Joy Division, who you somehow forgot to mention, although you DID mention some other Joy Division legions. Geez, I hope you are not a postpunk "fan", and we all know what the quotation marks mean, ahaa haaa haaa hee heee hohohoh haaaa. Ever hear of Tunnel Vision or Section XXV, old "fan" of mine??!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you very much for posting this, i never thought i´d find this one again, thank you!
