A curious recording of this Prokofiev classic for children. Instead of the usual orchestral interpretation, this approach to "Peter and the Wolf" gives us a version played in accordeon, banjo and mandolin (just for an example) and the magnificent narration of Gavin Friday.
Who woulda thought? I just discovered Gavin Friday thanks to one of your other postings, but this is such a wild and wonderful concept. Thanks so much !!
