Wim Mertens - Jardin Clos (1996)
With more than 50 albums released to date, these are just a few of the records that made of this belgian composer an undeniable reference in the music history of the last 25/30 years, due, in particular, to works like "Struggle for Pleasure", "Maximizing the Audience", "A Man of No Fortune...", "After Virtue", "Motives for Writing" or "Shot and Echo".

    As for your request, I guess I can only advise you to try Blaine Reininger's "Instrumentals", wich I've posted before and has Mertens participation in some of the tracks.
    You can also point-and-click on the "labels" bellow the Wim Mertens posts (Minimal, Contemporary, Neo-Classical, Classical) and see if they led you to other posts suitable to your musical taste.

  7. Thanks for the reply, I had a look at the similar artists on lastfm, (very usefull tool, thanks!) will be having a good listen to the sugestions there. Have managed to get hold of quite a few mertens albums now, so far motives for writing is my favorite, the presonell changes is the most incredible track i think i've ever heard. thanks again for the music and the help :)
