The Essence - Dancing in the Rain [The Best of The Essence] (1994)

When you hear the first minute of this record you'll may think that it's a The Cure bootleg but, actually, is just a dutch impersonator of Robert Smith making some good, melancholic pop melodies.
The Essence was formed in 1984 in Rotterdam - Netherlands - by the hands of Hans Diener who did the vocals, guitar and synthesizer.
This is a compilation wich gathers material recorded between 1985 and 1994 and I think it will appeal to all the post-punk lovers (specially if you're a fan of The Cure's sound).
