Locust, a.k.a. Mark Van Hoen, is a british - London based - musician and producer who achieved a bit more visibility with the indie electropop group Seefeel, in the early 90's.
I've chosen three of his records for today's post:
- "Weathered Well" - an excellent album of dark, ambient sounds and experimental electronics;
- "Natural Composite" - a collection of tracks recorded between 1985 and 1994 wich includes a Peel session and a limited promo EP;
- "Morning Light" is more of a song-oriented album, perfectly combining pop music with dreamy electronica.
It may appeal to fans of Brian Eno, Pete Namlook or Scanner.
Enjoy!
