Godflesh was founded in Birmingham, 1988, by Justin Broadrick - a former Napalm Death/Head of David member - and it's sound was really unique, being one of the first bands to combine metal with industrial beats."Pure" and "Selfless" are my two favourite records of the band.
If Black Sabbath was reborn as an industrial rock band, they'd probably sound an awful lot like Godflesh. (Taken from AMG)
